Elsa Reyes
Elsa Reyes asked Lois Lowry:

Assuming the giver does well in theaters would the follow up movies to that be The Gathering Blue and The Messenger? Is there any plans right now for those books to become movies?

Lois Lowry No plans at the moment, that I'm aware of.

More Answered Questions

Paula H
Paula H asked Lois Lowry:

Ms. Lowry, I heard you speak at Loudoun County Public Library several years ago and you told a beautiful story about the time you met Mr. Allen Say. The audience was enraptured by your story. Have you considered writing a picture book together about your interesting history as related in that story? It was such a lovely and memorable story, I feel like it should be shared.

Sarah O
Sarah O asked Lois Lowry:

What was the hardest part to write about in "Number the Stars" and where did you look to find information about the Holocaust?

Robin Paradise
Robin Paradise asked Lois Lowry:

I really like your work. I work for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and have read quite a bit of your work. I would like to know what influences you to write on the subjects that you do. Thank you, Robin Paradise
