Lois Lowry I think they are best read in the order in which they were written and published

Hi Lois! My question is how hard was it for you to connect all the parts of what is now dubbed the Giver Quartet so seamlessly and beautifully because i love books that can connect and enable you can backtrack and exclaim 'I got that reference!' I would love to one day write a series like that with hidden easter eggs much like yours!
