When I don't seem to be making progress on the current work in progress, I do all the related tasks that are necessary for a full time career writer, such as doing the accounts, research reading, editing (I usually have a book somewhere along the road to publication as well as one I'm actually writing), responding to emails and letters, social media, publicity and so on.
I also find exercise is good for getting creativity flowing, so I may walk my dogs or go to the gym. And other creative activities such as cooking, gardening or sewing are also useful.

Hello Juliet! I was wondering ( not dealing with Shadowfell as of yet!) but is there any chance you can visit Florida? Specifically Orlando ? I know fans from this part of town would love to get their books signed by you! Or is there anyway we can send you a letter that you can sign? I remember doing that few years back with another author. Though you are by far my favorite author - so it would have more value.
