It was a Fall October night with not a star or moon in sight, just pitch black all around. Surrounded by darkness I could barely see more than a few feet ahead when suddenly a gust of wind blew my newly completed Fiction Thriller manuscript papers all around as I stood silent and frozen with fright, listening to the sinister sound of footsteps quickly approaching!
