I'm sorry it took me so long to respond. I just saw your question. I began my writing career by enrolling in two correspondence courses through the Institute of Children's Literature. While completing those courses, I started getting short story acceptances. To further my learning, I went to many conferences and I am a very determined and disciplined person and always make my writing time a priority. It is the only way to complete manuscript!
