How do I figure out which book/s my brilliant, but reluctant to read boys will like? Hand them non-fiction they are interested in and they read, but a novel seems to require too much patience.

Hello, I was reading The Giver with my students, but they had a difficult time grasping and understanding the text. Students asked me if I could show them a movie that shared the story of The Giver. I was wondering if you ever considered having your book be adapted into a movie? Also, how would you illustrate the events that occur in the text for a student with a learning disability?
