Alleesia Anderson asked Zelly Jordan:

Big hello Zelly from the SE Melb suburb of Parkdale. It is always lovely to see a sister of spirit. Congratulations on "Fractured". I would like to ask if you if you have inspiration for your next book? And also, when you are writing a book, do you find that the story starts to combine into life? or do you have a way to separate the book from daily reality?

Zelly Jordan Hey there Alleesia! I'm out past craigieburn. How nice to meet you! My next book is already written, plus part of the third (sequels to Fractured).,I'm just starting the whole editing process on book two now. And yes, in a way, the story does encroach into my life - especially when my characters are talking in my head, late at night when I'm trying to sleep. They tend to come out and yammer in my head late at night so I end up tired most of the time. Lol. But it's good when that happens because it's usually the most creative times too. To seperate it as much as I can, I try to immerse myself into someone else's story for a while, whether it's a tv show or a book or movie - something to step out of "my world" . That helps me a lot. I also meditate often so I find that to be useful. And socialising with friends - having a coffee with the girls helps clear my head. The story does weave itself into my daily life - I find myself imagining how my characters would behave or react in situations or something that happens inspires a story thread. It's fun, I must admit.
