I force myself to write one sentence, no matter how tacky. Then I edit that sentence, or I quit for the day. But quitting is rare. Most of time that one sentence leads to another, then to a paragraph, even a page, and I'm back into the swing.

This may be a question you get a lot but do you have any plans to write about Belle Prater again? I started reading Belle Prater's Boy and could not put it down. Halfway through, I decided my kids needed to hear it as well. I am from West Virginia originally, and your dialect is so spot on and reminded me a great deal of my grandma.
