Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kim Baccellia The Crossed series was inspired by a personal experience I had after the murder of my younger sister. It made me wonder if those who are murdered might be confused that they were in fact dead. My husband also helped by asking what if it was the responsibility of someone to make those crosses you saw on the side of the road. I took it a step further. And that's how the idea of a Rescuer was born!
