Revolution is my all time favorite book. Do you have any other books like it or do you plan to do more like it?
Jennifer Donnelly
Thanks, Nicole. That's a very special book for me, too -- it remains the hardest one I've written on multiple levels (not least the emotional toll it took to get it all down). I hope all my books are different from one another, so I don't think I have one "like" Revolution. But you might want to try A Northern Light, or even The Wild Rose -- that one is in a whole different genre than Rev, but Willa, the heroine, is a flawed character who's in a bad place ... kind of like Andi (I wrote the two of them at about the same time in my own life ... hmmm). Or my contribution to Fatal Throne, which is about to come out -- Anna of Cleves is an amazing and complex character who I really loved spending time with.
In other words, I don't know how to answer your question -- but maybe have a look on my site and read what I have to say about all my books and characters -- maybe something will click for you: http://www.jenniferdonnelly.com/books/

So I was wondering. It gets dark pretty as you go deeper under the ocean so how do the mer see? You talk about them having the lava globes but that isn't really practical for traveling over distance or even just staying outside all day. Do they just have to carry a light around with them at all times or do they build really close to the surface? If that is the case how have they prevented being discovered by humans?
