How do you get inspired to write?

J.B. Beatty After being a writing professional in another genre (under a different name) for many years, I wouldn't say writing comes easy. However, I would say I have good habits and can make myself do the work when it's needed. It's more perspiration than inspiration.

To get my head going in the right direction before I sit down to write, you'll usually find me doing dishes. Or taking a looong shower.
