Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Jeb Bohn I had an incredibly vivid dream, a dream that really creeped me out. More than that, it made me incredibly curious about the world that I inhabited in the dream. There were pieces there to follow, and some things have evolved in the writing process, but the basic idea and theme remain intact. Do you ever see a building and think to yourself, "Gee, I wonder just what the hell they do there"? Curiosity can be be a great motivator and a huge detriment to our continued safety. Where is the line? How close can we get to it before the pendulum swings, knocking us from the safe confines of inquisitiveness, into the darkness? Personally, I would rather find out by writing.
