Goodreads asked Jeb Bohn:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Jeb Bohn Write. Don't overanalyze things. If you want to write, do it. Don't be afraid to start small. Come up with an idea that you want to grow and run with it. Don't hesitate to reach out to those closest to you for feedback, be it assistance in proofreading or getting their opinion to make sure the story flows and isn't confusing. Criticism isn't bad, don't shrink away from it. Determine if it's constructive and, if it is, embrace it, that's how we get better. Never sell yourself short. If you believe in what you're writing and you believe it to be good, go with it. You'll find others who will embrace it as well. In closing, and to add yet another cliché, have fun. You're flexing a talent, like playing piano or hockey. Enjoy it!
