What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Nicki Charest Being able to create your own fantasy. Some people write to live a small piece of their life in an altered reality. For me, it's about creating that reality for someone to explore something outside of themselves. I love when I write a short story or something that makes people say "for a moment I lost myself" or "I was lost in the story". That tells me my little fantasy world is some place people want to be and thats what I love most!
