Maggie
Maggie asked Helen Callaghan:

In your book Dear Amy, quite early on in the story, Margot receives the first letter addressed to DEAR AMY, THE CAMBRIDGE EXAMINER, CAMBRIDGE. The next paragraph says "The 'o's were very round............." - but there are no 'o's. Is this a case of Spot the deliberate mistake?

Helen Callaghan It's a mistake, but not deliberate. ;) Years ago, the book was set somewhere else, and when I moved to Cambridge I made the decision to change the setting to somewhere more local. However, I didn't change this - well spotted!
