Michael Barsa Thanks so much, Jenn, for your question! I finally did master the American "R." It was sometime in 5th grade, after years of speech therapy, when it finally clicked, and suddenly I no longer sounded like such a foreigner. For a kid who was always trying to fit in, and always conscious of how he didn't, it was quite a profound moment.
