Not so much a question as a thank you - I recently discovered your books. I know one shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, but I found Changeless and Blameless in a bookstore, fell in love with the gorgeous covers and teasers -who can resist 'vampires, werewolves, and afternoon tea'?? (not I) and the moment i got home, went online and bought the whole series&then everything else! Adore your writing so much!

Thank you very kindly! Welcome to the cozy tea-saturated madness. Just so you know, because you're new, there are 2 more series in the same universe (Finishing School, Custard Protocol) and several spin off novellas featuring fan favorite side characters. Also I do regular giveaways and behind the scenes sneak peaks via The Chirrup: gailcarriger.com/chirrup Thank you again for being so sweet! ~ Miss Gail

I know this is a really weird question, but why do ghosts have clothes on? I'm not complaining, naked ghosts would be weird and far more scary. I always assumed they wore the clothes they died in, so if a person died on laundry day they would wear sweatpants for the rest of their ghostly existence. But clothes are not physically attached to the body, so how do clothes become part of a ghost? Weird thought, I know.
