It's a fine term for the creative process, Charles! I'm currently torn between two other series, each of which would feature a different character from the Maggie Sullivan Mysteries. One would be set in the 1920s. The other would be set in the mid-1950s. So many ideas, so little time...

I am so excited to read there will be more Maggie Sullivan mysteries. I am a dedicated fan. Not only do I become immersed in the mysteries, I also avidly read all of the background material you provide and the photos. The '40s were the early years of my parents' marriage. Do you continually do research on that time period for each new book?

Really loved As Pretty Does. I’m already looking forward to the next one! There will be another one, won’t there? But you may want to find a better proofreader. Eleanor is referred to as Evelyn a couple of times, and Smith is referred to as Fisher once. Also, “dual” is used when the word you intended was “duel”.
