Okay my dear I read the 1st book (reviewed for you) and then you asked me to review Milk Blood (of course I did) but dude Milk Blood has to be one of the most depressing books I read and reviewed. It was so sad but then again you did warn me lol?

Thanks for the reviews! I know they take time and work and thought. I appreciate that. And the feedback on how depressing Milk-Blood was is something I heard loud and clear. A couple things on that: the truth of what I have seen as a social worker and therapist is darker than occurs in the book. Of course, the supernatural elements weren't present, but the level of addiction and poverty were. That said, I did want something more hopeful, and, if you read All Smoke Rises, the follow up to Milk-Blood, you'll find a bit of hope at the end. Well, a lot of hope at the end. It ends with a cathartic and hopeful primal scream into the universe. Thanks again Chris.

Body of Christ - okay. I love horror that talks about how effed-up humanity is and points out our fatal flaws. The more frightening, the more I'm intrigued. I'm also a VERY devout Roman Catholic who honestly believes that God does no wrong, ever, period, and that God is always good. So here's the bottom line - your book looks AMAZING but, is God the bad guy or not? If so, I won't enjoy reading it. Sorry.
