Just wanted to let you know that I LOVED Shattered! I like the dynamic of Max, Sean and Lucy. To finally find out what happened to Lucy's nephew! So cool! I was wondering, given the ending, will Sean be helping Max in the next book? and when will the next Max book be out? Thanks Rhonda

Hi Rhonda -- I'm so glad you enjoyed SHATTERED! It turned out much better than I thought. I had the idea, but was worried I wouldn't be able to pull it off with both Max and Lucy on the same page because they're so different in their style and approach to investigations. Then I was pleasantly surprised, LOL.
ABANDONED is the next Max book out in August. Sean has a small role in the book, mostly at the beginning. Dillon, however, has a slightly bigger role as Max consults with him. That surprised me, but it felt very organic after the way they worked together in SHATTERED, and I really enjoyed Dillon's insights. I'd forgotten how much I liked him as a character in the Lucy series.
Anyway, thanks so much! I hope you like ABANDONED just as much.

Hey Allison, I just finished the "No Evil" series, and loved it. Was my first series of yours. Having a hard time figuring out where to go next. A lo of your characters are in different series. Is there a preferred order to read them in? Can I go straight to Lucy's series, or should I do the FBI one first since Jack is in it? HELP!

I am a great fan of your writing. For me it's characters first, I have to like/love the characters which is why I love your books. Your bringing back characters we know from time to time is something I look forward to. That said, Lucy has always been my least liked character and now I have not read anything after her second book. My question is, if you plan on every moving on to new (or even old) characters?
