Continued. your writing style felt more real. More personal. So how much of that was on purpose? (If it wasn't on purpose, don't worry--your writing is amazing. It's just a little rough around the edges, but that comes with time. I really loved your book and I can't wait to get my hands on the next!)

Well, it depends on what is typoed. Some misspelled words are on purpose, some--probably not, lol. Magiks is deliberate, I had someone comment on that one somewhere. Writing in present tense isn't as easy as I expected it to be when I started writing that story, but the characters demanded it. So as she thinks things or does things or sees things--the reader does as well. That story is all character driven. You'll see when you read other series by me. I'll admit freely that Elusion is a bit rough, I'm going to re-release it this year when I pub book 3, so that will help. I appreciate the fact that you enjoyed the story despite the errors.
I would like to think as I keep doing this I'll learn and hopefully grow as an author. So crossing my fingers that you as readers come along with me, ya know?

So the writing style (in Elusion)... is that on purpose (because Iza generally thinks that way) or is that just how you write? It needs a little work, but the entire thing is just so (just going to throw out a few words here) unique, amazing, interesting, and just plain awesome that it doesn't bother me. I mean, I found a lot of typos, but it kind of just added to the experience, you know? (Continued on next question)
