how did you begin the trip of writing? how to develop as a writer in both Arabic and English?

In truth, I started writing in sixth grade but stopped for 10 or 11 years before I resumed it in my senior year at HU.
Well, I guess reading for as many writers as you can helps a lot. Besides, I believe watching movies develops the ability to present a well woven plot.
