How do you get inspired to write?

Tara Ingham There's no single way I get inspired and anything from something I see to something as tiny as a nostalgic smell. Some days the words just come to me, others it's like beating my head against a brick wall and over time I've just taught myself to work through it. I like to think of this as 'writing on command'.
But otherwise, if I'm feeling particularly uninspired, I'll either engage with the work (drawing, working on plots etc), or I'll take a shower because I always seem to get all my good ideas at the most inconvenient times! Haha.
