What do you see as the future for the Horror genre? Are there any new authors you'd recommend reading for those who want to write in the genre?

That's an interesting question, because the horror genre has been in decline in the literary world for quite a while. I would love to see it make a comeback, but right now, it just doesn't sell. Unless your name is King or Hill, that is. I think the only authors that are going to break through in horror are the ones that have a gimmick, or can blend it successfully with another genre.
