Hello Sylvain After reading Gabriel's trilogy, you and him inspired me to study the Italian Renaissance, Botticelli, Florence, Michelangelo and Dante. I can't thank you enough for the great experience of reading your book and discovering Dante and Florence. Do you have a favorite/recommended translation of Dante or you read it directly in Italian?
Sylvain Reynard
Hello Teo,
Thank you very much.
For Dante's Divine Comedy, I like Dorothy L. Sayers' translation but I've read it in Italian, too.
Thanks for reading and I'm grateful you found the Gabriel Trilogy inspiring.
All the best, SR

I have been reluctant to start the Florentine Series because my Vampire boyfriend is Matthew de Clairmont from the Deborah Trilogy A discovery of Witches...I could not betray him with another Vampire. Then I read The Prince...Now I can't wait to learn more about The Prince. So here we go... Hopefully the Shadow will be out by the time I am done with the 1st three Do the Emersons make an appearance in any of them?

Thank U, sir, for honour to be my friend & thank for those spirit words that was told before by U about writing & belief in oneself. I really appreciate it as writer, it gave me courage to continue. Not so many writers do it fr 3 person, but I'm glad that you'r ONE OF THEM. As writer, I know it's hard work to express 3 person feelings of heroes, but you'r the best in it!
Fr which old years you started to write? :)

Hey SR! Congratulations a bunch on The Shadow. I'm sure its a rage all over the readers' world everywhere. I'm a little fan of yours, among all others out there, and as usual, I want to ask when is the next part of the Florentine series will come out? All the very best to you. :)
