My next project is a novella called Barren, on sale in September 2018! Barren occurs at the same time as The Core, and tells a Demon Cycle story I've been saving up for a special occasion.
After that will be a new series, already being written. It takes place 15 years after the events of The Core. There will be familiar characters, but new readers will be able to start there without reading the old series. The first book is titled The Desert Prince and should be out in 2020.

Hi Peat, After having read The Core, I have one question regarding the "Cutter" accent... did you intentionally change the accents of the Hollow to show an amalgamation of of different accents that probably occurred with the fast intake of people and the consequent growth of the county? Or was it less of a change and more of a "now I am showing more of it"?
