Goodreads asked Kyle Jones:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Kyle Jones I've always thought that writer's block was hitting a point in your story where you don't know where to go. That's not an issue for me because I know the progression of my story from beginning to end before I start to write. But a form of writer's block- loss of motivation- arises for me after I've fully developed the story in my head over a long period of time and then I've lost the inspiration to put it down on paper. I've had several ideas for books like this that, once I figured them out and told them to someone, I felt satisfied with the creative process and unmotivated to actually do the hard work of writing. So the way to deal with this is to just shut up and write. Even if it's not the greatest or most inspired writing. Just write. You can fix everything in post.
