Who would you say has inspired you most in your writing career?

Jessica Lemmon Oh, wow, this is a great question! And a hard one! I could list authors whose work I admire, but I fear we'd be here until the end of time because SO MANY. I have to say, inspiration comes from everywhere. A song on the radio, something I read on a website. Movies or television shows, and of course, God blesses me with words and ideas constantly. But the people who have inspired me most are the ones who live in my head. My characters have stories that need to be told. Lives that need to be lived. Sometimes a snippet of dialog pops into my brain and I just can't ignore it. Or a scenario. Tempting the Billionaire was born the day I forgot to wear my wedding ring. All day, I kept moving my finger and not feeling my ring and I wondered how long it took after a divorce to get out of that habit. BOOM. I immediately saw a woman in a bar, crying, and moving her finger over where her wedding ring used to be. It was the start of my book. :)
