I love your Hagenheim series, my favorite is The Captive Maiden (I love Valten and Gisela) and I'm really excited for The Warrior Maiden and Steffan and Adela's stories. I was wondering if there were any plans for stories on Colin's siblings?

Melanie Dickerson Thanks, Ashley! Don't forget about Kirstyn's story! The Orphan's Wish will feature Kirstyn as the heroine. And The Warrior Maiden is Wolfgang's story. I don't have any plans to write Colin's siblings' stories, but you never know. I have the germ of an idea for a new series, but haven't had time to develop it.

Hi, Melanie! I started into your books on Kobo within the last two months-ish. Not sure if you stated this, was Gabe/Valten's relationship reminiscent of The Prodigal Son? That struck me in the Snow White & Cinderella-based books. Scripture doesn't say a lot about the "other prodigal son." I didn't see on your site, figured I'd ask. (Rambling on Valten's arc caught my boyfriend's interest for your stories, hehe.)
