Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Craig N. Hooper I was inspired to write The Greatest Good after becoming a father. With the newfound responsibility of being a parent, many of my views on life quickly changed. I wondered what it would be like for a person who suddenly becomes a parent while having a government operative job with a controversial past. What would change? What wouldn’t? I found there to be many exciting plot lines with this unique character perspective, so I created Garrison Chase and the series of books starting with The Greatest Good. I think the unique background of Garrison Chase makes him human, relatable, and different from other characters in similar suspense/thriller series.
