I’m a late blooming author too. Did you always want to write or were you compelled later in life?

J. Schlenker Sorry Cathy, just seeing this. I wrote poetry in high school. When I came to the retirement phase of my life I told my husband I didn't know what I wanted to do. We were cleaning out the bookshelf and he found the poems I had written, and he said why don't you write. So, I started with blogging. Then I heard about NaNoWriMo and wrote my first book.
