lol. Spring 2019. My next book is called The Past and Other Things That Should Stay Buried. I don't have an exact date yet, but I do have a cover that will be revealed later this summer.

Hi! First up I would like t say that I just finished your book: "We are the ants" and I loved it. Obviously, your book talks about a lot of issues like domestic violence, bullying and such but I was quite surprised that there was very little homophobia. Often these type of characters, homophobia plays a large part in bullying but your's has not. Don't get me wrong, it was really refreshing, but I just wondered why?

What advice do you have for young, queer authors (such as myself) who want to write YA books with queer characters?(: (Also, I finished "We Are the Ants" pretty recently, and it's amazing. Only two books, before this one, have gotten me hooked onto a book with the first sentence, but yours is now on that list.)
