How do you get inspired to write?

David J. Goldfield This is my second book. The first is a true story of a hostage taking in Peru where 600 dignitaries were taken hostage at the Japanese Ambassador's resident and the long and dangerous negotiations that took place led by the Canadian Ambassador. It is a tale of political intrigue and heroic courage. I loved researching the story and writing comes easy to me. It is a wonderful way to escape the world for long periods of time and let your imagination go wild.
