How do you get inspired to write?

David Niall Wilson I can write any time, but there are those times when something clicks, and it has to be written then and there. I love that. Recently I wrote a novel with the love of my life, Patricia Lee Macomber. We wrote the book very quickly, and it was born from the phrase "Remember Bowling Green," and the fact that I was (at the time) reading a biography of Frederick Douglass. What we got was "Remember Bowling Green - The Adventures of Frederick Douglass - Time Traveler" - and we have given 80% of everything earned on the book to the ACLU.
