Will the prequel to Lilac Girls also be set in war times? Will Kasia also be a main character? I'm so excited!

Martha Hall Kelly Hi Fiona! The prequel to Lilac Girls, Lost Roses, is Caroline's mother Eliza's story. It's set during WWI and takes place in New York, Paris and Russia. (It focuses on Eliza's fight to help White Russian women, former aristocrats who fell victim to the Bolsheviks.) I was so happy to be able to keep writing about the Ferridays--we see Caroline as a child, meet her father Henry and see how they first discovered their beloved home The Hay. Can't wait to share it--comes out next spring.

I loved the Lilac Girls it was amazing! Can't wait for another. I saw that you visited the house in Connecticut and you came home with a lilac cutting? I would love to get one...do they sell them? I would love to see the gardens. I am a Master Gardener here in MD and I have so many peonies I will always remember this book when they bloom this spring. Again! I really 💜 This book.

I loved your newest book "The Golden Doves". It was very hard to put down. I finished it in 3 days. Will there will a follow up book to this one for the end of the book, to me, leaves us with a cliffhanger?
