Anne Griffin
What inspires me to write is reading other writers. I love good writing and cannot get enough of writers such as Richard Russo, Anne Tyler, John Boyne, Donal Ryan, Carol Shields, Jonathan Coe, Sebastian Barry, Ron McLarty, Alice Hoffman, to name but a tiny few. Through their writing I am energised. They teach me how to write better and deeper, exploring all it is to be human.

Anne Griffin:
No question, just a comment. I loved "When All is Said" so much that as soon as I finished it, I sent a copy to my brother in Eire and my sister in Scotland. We felt like our Grandad was reading it to us - his voice was so clear and real, despite having died 45 years ago! They both sent copies friends too. It is my Staff pick at the library & everyone who has read it loved it too. You have touched many hearts!(?)
