Karen Jackson
Karen Jackson asked Glen Robinson:

What inspires you to write?

Glen Robinson A lot of things inspire me to write: an idea that itches in my head, the identity of being a writer, the idea of being called by God to write. But I've learned that you can't wait for "inspiration" to strike before you start writing. If I did so, I would never get anything done. Twice in my lengthy career I've had what I call "epiphany moments" where I wake up with an idea so powerful that it basically writes itself. Most of the rest of the time it's work. But I remember the feeling of satisfaction when I am done and I have created something I am proud of and that makes a statement worthwhile, and that motivates me. I guess you could say, that's what really "inspires" me.
