How do you get inspired to write?

Carlo Pizzati I've always like to observe in awe and with some sense of surprise and curiosity everything that is around me. The city life, life in rural settings, in the workplace, within the family. I'm fascinated by what drives people to do what they do, and particularly I am interested in what happens in the intermingling of cultures, since I've lived for long periods in many different continents like Europe, North and South America and Asia. The scenery changes, but human tales are often the same.
