Karen Jackson
Karen Jackson asked Lance Oren:

What inspires you to write?

Lance Oren What an interesting question. I would have to say the love of adventures and interesting characters. Since childhood I loved creating believable stories with lovable characters. As a writer, I'm old school, enjoying interesting plots with several twist woven within. My unique life experiences were very helpful in bringing new technologies to the forefront. While writing it seems my characters once developed take on a life of their own and I'm just along for the ride documenting their adventure. I thoroughly enjoy writing family oriented novels without all the harsh language, extreme violence and things that we are confronted everyday in real life. To me, novels should be uplifting, enlightening and have happy endings. A good book will take you on a grand adventure, empower you, make you cry, laugh, secretly educating you and make you feel it was time well spent. If I could make a reader, or audiobook listener smile, shed a tear, then I have accomplished more than riches. In the late night hours while writing, I too, have done them all.
My sincere appreciation for the question.
Have a great and enjoyable day.
Lance :)
