Goodreads asked H.A. Wills:

How do you get inspired to write?

H.A. Wills For as long as I could talk, I've told myself stories. Growing up, I'd make up stories at night to entertain myself, so I could drift off to sleep. When I got older, I started writing them down and sharing them with friends (I also got super creative with every writing assignment in school.)

I also love stories in general in any form I can get them: books, movies, television shows, video games, comics, etc. I also like to make up stories or tweak stories in my head of said favorite stories (yes, I'm talking head canons), and after a while, I started writing those down and posting them online. That's right, folks! I wrote fan fiction! lol.

To make a long story longer, what inspires me to write is everything. I take in as many stories in as many ways as I can until I'm practically bursting, then out of all of that madness my stories bloom, and I write them down as fast as I can before I lose them. No matter how weird they are, or how they don't feel like they'll go anywhere, I jot down what I have, because I never know when it might be useful later.
