The best thing about being a children's writer is definitely the heartwarming reviews/feedback from young'uns. It's a thrill to hear from little readers that they're writing their school book report on one of your books, or to learn from a young fan that during a discussion on detectives she told the class that her favourite detective was Gayatri.
