Hello! I am so in love with your books, I've just started the Bargainer series and finished book 1 in one sitting! My question is, I've noticed you don't spend much time describing the main heroine's physical appearance, and I noticed the same in Pestilence as well; is this intentional? Do you want to leave space for the readers to fill in the blanks and create a character with their own imagination?

Awwww, so happy to hear you enjoy my novels! And you're super perceptive! I do intentionally try to leave the heroine's physical appearance as simple as possible. Partly, I want all readers to be able to see themselves as the main character (I could go into the whole diversity discussion and how certain minorities feel like outsiders because they don't see themselves in literature, but that's a long discussion, and best for another time)! I also think that focusing on a character's features (specifically a woman's) places more importance on her looks than her heart and head. And here in the land of steamy literature, one must leave the objectifying to the male love interests' windswept hair and rock hard abs. 😂 (Watch out for that double-standard!)
And now that I've answered your question, I realize I really have no basis to act as some sort of social right fighter ... I write morally gray enemies-to-lovers romances ... 😂 Anyway, that's the best I got! Thanks for reading!

I'm one of your old fans (I'm 72)...but I've enjoyed your Four Horsemen Series so far. I recall seeing one of your comments suggesting you are shooting for a May/June launch for your 3rd book. As you are raising 2 infants, you must be tired every night. Do you have some insight to when you might be ready to launch "Famine" yet?
