Hi Maria, I was inspired to create those two characters because they actually exist! Brandon is based off of my daughter, Erin’s, crush when she was younger. MacKenzie is based off of the bullies that my daughters and I had to deal with growing up.

I just finished reading your 13th book and I loved it! I read the book when it was my actual birthday and I am super glad that my birthday was not as crazy as Nikki’s! Thank you for the writing tips, I will use them for future reference! When will your 14th book be published? I enjoy all of your books even though I’m 14!
