Inspiration really comes the minute you start moving your pen, if not before. Though that sounds unhelpful, if you practice it, you'll find that it's true. I used to have exercises or pictures or questions I'd ask myself to stir up inspiration. After years of this, inspiration is already there waiting for me. It often wakes me up in the morning. I guess that's proof of the saying, "what you feed, grows."
