Shannon Machut
Shannon Machut asked Valorie Kondos Field:

You came from a world of ballet and choreography to become the head coach of a sport in which one wrong move could result in catastrophic injury. Was there ever fear in your decision to become a head coach and how have you overcome it to become so successful?

Valorie Kondos Field I never feared being the head coach but have had constant concern about our athletes getting injured and therefore take great care to make sure they are in a focused and strong frame of mind before executing each of their skills. I believe one of my assets is that I was never allowed to have an ego coaching because I didn’t know anything so I hired really good people and asked a ton of questions. I still do.
