Goodreads asked Justin Conboy:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Justin Conboy Get the whole story down on an Excel file. 150 lines.
The start writing, don't stop, just keep writing until you have all your 150 lines turned into 150 pages.
Then start again and flush and add until you have your 300 pages, 80k words.
Then you start again for the 3rd time.
Then you get an editor. Spend two months fixing all the 18,000 corrections (Actually had 18,000 in this new book).
Do what your editor says, but go with your gut if you need to.
Get a good artist, make sure your cover is excellent.
Fix your edits, then have the editor give the book a once over.
Fix the last few edits.
The proofread X10. Different people.
Publish on Kindle/Amazon.
Don't bother with publishing houses.
(You'd have written a second book by the time you send out all the cover notes and manuscripts, just to get "we're sorry, but the book dosen't suit us".)
Easy. Anyone can do it.
