Deanna Raybourn Great question, Jacquelyn! Stoker carries a small carpetbag when he travels, mostly for sweets, I suspect...

He would always pack a notebook, a pencil stub, his large red handkerchiefs, needle and thread, and a few French romance novels if he can't get his hands on the latest Arcadia Brown book.

Will the Veronica Speedwell series ever be made into a television series or movie? It’s absolutely amazing. I am reading them one after another and currently on the fourth book. I love the main characters and their banter back and forth. It reminds me of similar banter between my late husband and myself. I hope you continue this series for some time to come. Looking forward to reading your Lady Julia series as well.
