Hello Sandhya! I'm currently reading, "When Dimple Met Rishi"...so far I am really enjoying it a lot! Even my cat is too since he just chewed on the spine and it's an autographed copy, LOL. Ah well. :) Anyhoo, I have a question...Rishi and Dimple met Leo Tilden at Little Comic Con. I am wondering what made you decide to make the character deaf? I am deaf myself so I am really curious. Sandhya Menon Hi Tammy! I'm so happy to hear both you and your cat are enjoying When Dimple Met Rishi. :) I wanted to write a deaf character because at the time I wrote WDMR, I'd recently read about deaf culture and how rich and complex it is. I felt sad that I, like many able-bodied people, had never had the opportunity to learn this before. So I decided to make Rishi's hero a deaf comic book artist!
