Make the decision to write and finish your book and don't get stuck on what your first book is. I thought about writing my book for over 20 years. The book I wrote wasn't the book I thought I'd write, that is still coming. But finishing the book felt amazing. So I would say it took me 20 years to write my first book - but in actuality, it took me 5 days to write it once I decided.
