Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Barry J. Tidwell The story pays homage to dark gritty comic book cities like; Gotham and Basin(Sin City). But for Corbindale Bay, great change came from new religion and politics, who cleaned up the town's crime and prostitution. Then I needed something to offset the good. So being from Vegas, I tapped into our motto 'What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas', and created a similar darker futuristic destination on a secluded island, called, 'A Wicked Haven'. I envisioned the island with similar landmarks; hotels, casinos, shows, stripclubs, and nightclubs, which only cater to adults, compared to the more family-friendly Las Vegas Strip today. Once I had my good vs. what one might perceive such a landmark as evil, they were the catalyst of my writing and inspiration for fusing an adult content crime thriller within a dark comic book-style universe.
